This is a joint venture company between Sime Darby Tractors Enterprise Sdn. Bhd, with Kubota Corporation and Marubeni Corporation of Japan.

In Malaysia, Sime Kubota is the exclusive distributor of Kubota agriculture tractors, machineries and engines. It operates through a network of 10 branches and 2 depots located at Puchong, Perai Kluang, Kuantan, Teluk Intan, Kota Bharu, Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Lahad Datu, Sibu, Bintulu and Kuching.

Sime Darby TMA Sdn. Bhd. collaborates with principals to design, manufacture, assemble and distribute heavy equipment and industrial products, primarily for the Asia Pacific Region.

It has an Original Equipment Manufacturing Agreement with Terberg Tractors Malaysia to manufacture Terberg terminal tractors for Asia Pacific ports.

Sime Darby TMA Sdn. Bhd, also has a Manufacturing and Sales Agreement with Champion Motor Grader, USA for the ASEAN market. The Company is also the local manufacturer for Omega Empty Container Handlers from Clark Equipment, Australia. Sime Darby TMA Sdn. Bhd. is ideally located in the prime industrial park of Pasir Gudang, Johor, occupying 10 acres of land that accommodates a manufacturing facility capable of producing a wide range of industrial equipment.

Sime Darby Industrial Power Sdn. Bhd., is the sole agent for Perkins industrial engines and Perkin’s Saber marine engines in Malaysia and Brunei. It is a leading supplier of diesel engines in the 4kW – 2000kW market. It also distributes and markets generator sets and water pumps driven by Perkins engines for the local and overseas markets. It operates from its head office located in Glenmarie, Shah Alam and through branches located in Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.

Sime Darby Electropack Sdn. Bhd., is involved in the packaging of generator sets and water pumps that are powered by Perkins diesel engines. It also conducts product testing for permanence and capacity to ensure 100% compliance to design specifications.

Cica Limited is subsidiary company of Sime Darby Industrial Sdn. Bhd. Located in Vietnam. It operates from its head office located in Hanoi; Vietnam and through its branches in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh. Cica is primarily involved in heavy equipment supply, blast hole drills, compressors, construction and mining, transportation, communications and manufacturing in Vietnam.

Terberg Tractors Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is a joint venture between Terberg Benchop B.V of Holland and Sime Darby Industrial Sdn. Bhd., set up in 2005 to market Terberg terminal tractors for ports in the Asia Pacific. In November 2005, Terberg Tractors Malaysia Sdn. Bhd signed a Manufacturing Agreement with Sime Darby TMA Sdn.Bhd.(SDTMA) appointing SDTMA as the manufacturer of Terberg vehicles for the region.

Terberg terminal tractors have been delivered to ports in Asia, such as the Jakarta International Container Terminal Indonesia, Asian Terminal Inc. Philippines, PSA Singapore Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Malaysia, Jawaharlal Nehru Port India, South Asia Gateway Terminal Sri Lanka etc. Terberg terminal tractors have also been delivered to ports in the Middle East, such as the Port of Salalah Oman and Port of Morocco.

It has appointed dealers in selected countries like India, Australia/New Zealand, Vietnam, China, Philippine, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan to provide after sales service.

The company was established with the expertise in the design, fabrication & installation of heat transfer products and gas processing modules.

Sime Darby Joy Industries Sdn.Bhd products are found in various applications throughout the oil & gas, petroleum, petrochemical, chemical and power generation.
