Hastings Deering sells, services, rents and supports the complete range of Cat heavy equipment and on-highway trucks used in the mining, construction, forestry, agricultural, materials handling and government sectors. 

In December 2011, Hastings Deering became the first Cat dealer in the world to sell, service and support the expanded range of Caterpillar underground and surface mining equipment, after acquiring the former Bucyrus distribution business from Caterpillar. 

Energy Power Systems Australia (EPSA), a Hastings Deering shareholding, is also specialised Cat engine dealer offering solutions for marine propulsion, industrial power, electric power generation, oil & gas drilling and offshore production, rental and used engines, and generators. 

Operating as part of the national Cat network, Hastings Deering Truck Centres provide Cat on-highway truck sales, service and parts support. Bumper-to-bumper servicing and repairs is also available for all makes of trucks. 

Hastings Deering has a wide range of new, used, remanufactured or maintenance parts solutions; stocking over 232,000 lines of Caterpillar parts inventories around the 23 branches. 

The combination of inventory size, location and sourcing of systems means without fail parts are available quickly and over 95 per cent of orders are supplied within 24 hours. 

Hastings Deering’s Condition Monitoring Centre helps customers maintain the health of their equipment with scheduled oil sampling (SOS) services providing valuable, proactive information which assists in setting up effective, comprehensive maintenance and repair plans for equipment. 

Technical and Engineering Services range from diagnosis and advice on technical product problems to the design and engineering of special machine attachments and product applications. 

Hastings Deering offers a Certified Rebuild program which means Cat equipment can be rebuilt with the latest technology and engineering for a second life.
